Penn Renn Registration List

Postby Mrs. T-Bone on Wed Jun 08, 2016 9:56 am

Penn Renn games are thrown in the jousting arena in the sand. We will throw heavy hammer and we do not throw sheaf. There is room for pop-up shade if you want to bring it. This list is current as of 6/21. Please watch for any updates or changes of information. Weather looks like it will be 40 degrees warmer and dryer than last year!! LOL... pack your sunscreen instead of your parka! PLEASE plan to be on the field at 8:30am. We will need to start throwing before the gates open in order to finish at a reasonable hour.

Thanks Steph! We will see Saturday that the weather has to be better than last year's deluge. We are looking forward to seeing all our HG friends again.

A great, sunny day at Penn Renn yesterday! Thanks to Steph, Kenny (who was wounded by a stray 56# but lived to tell the tale) Mark and all the folks who made things go smoothly. Jerry was great on the mic, and it was a pleasure throwing with a great group of folks ranging in age from 21-62. Penn Renn is always a bit challenging with the sand and turf box, but that's part of the fun, right? Also thanks to Mrs. Kenny for taking photos, including some that captured Kenny's quick reactions!

Thanks again everyone, it was fun.

Thanks to everyone who helped put on these games. It was my first games and the hook is set. Definitely competing again.

Thanks also to the athletes who helped with advice and guidance throughout the day. Very impressed with character and comradery of all the athletes. Great community and great times.

Thanks again everyone and hoping to compete again soon.

Oh yeah- sorry for breaking the throwers box. My bad.
